NYABIHU: ACP SAFARI CHRISTIAN CALLS ON DASSO PERSONNEL TO UPHOLD PROFESSIONALISM

On 16 July 2026, the Mayor of the District, Ms. MUKANDAYISENGA Antoinette, received ACP SAFARI Christian, the National Coordinator of the District Administration Security Support Organ (DASSO), during a working visit aimed at strengthening DASSO's performance and enhancing service delivery to citizens.

During the meeting, the District leadership presented an overview of the achievements made by DASSO in supporting public security and assisting local government institutions in fulfilling their responsibilities. Discussions also focused on strategies to further improve DASSO's effectiveness while ensuring that citizen-centred service delivery remains at the core of its operations.

ACP SAFARI Christian delivered a presentation on professional conduct and the core values expected of DASSO personnel. He emphasized that professionalism, integrity, discipline, and ethical conduct are fundamental to the effective execution of DASSO's mandate and the delivery of quality services to citizens.

He further urged DASSO personnel to uphold professional standards in the discharge of their duties, strengthen collaboration with other institutions, and consistently place the interests of citizens at the centre of their work.

The working visit also provided an opportunity to review progress made, exchange views on priority actions for improving operational performance, and reaffirm DASSO's commitment to professionalism, public safety, and improved service delivery for the benefit of all citizens.
